Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 1982) is a well-known American actor. She is most famously known for her role played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio dropped out of high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first part as Rachel's Room's title character the online video show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, as well as sharing a Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) along with her. Grace quit the show in 2005 to focus on an even more prominent role in movies, and had a role in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. Her career began as an early teenager, when she appeared in small parts in a few films directed that her father directed. Also, she worked alongside her brother in the 2001 famous movie Donnie Darko. She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's leading roles in Secretary, a romantic comedy-drama erotico, as well as Sherrybaby (a film) earned her nominations for Golden Globe Award. The actress gained more attention for her role as Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) as well as a number of successful commercials she appeared in in the year 2006.
