Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. The majority of her childhood listening to classic music and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic music and classic classical music. Ana loves Tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of drama. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, and commenced more serious training in singing at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. Her early professional career was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved from Mexico to America around 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Ana is involved in a variety of local initiatives, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of The Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
